Functions of the Council -
(3) The principal functions of the Council shall be as follows:
(A) administration and establishment matters;
(B) protecting public order;
(C) public welfare work services; And
(D) Formulation and implementation of local economic and social development plans.
(2) On the basis of the main functions mentioned in sub-section (1), the functions of the council are described in the second schedule.
(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (1) and (2), in particular, and without affecting the totality of such sub-clauses, the Government may determine the duties and duties of reserved members of women. However, one third of the wards associated with the development of the Union Parishad (TR, Kavikha, bulk allocation and others) should be entrusted to the reserved female seat of the chair of the implementation committee.
Union Council Police and Village Defense Issues:

Citizens Charter Release:
(3) Every council constituted under this Act shall, following the prescribed procedure, publish the details of various types of citizen service, the terms of service and the details of assurance of service within a specified time, which shall be called the Citizen Charecter.
(2) The Government shall formulate guidelines for the ideal citizen certification for the Council and, subject to the law and regulations of the Council, if necessary modifications and modifications of this Directive shall be notified to the Government for its notice.
(3) The Civil Charter shall be amended from time to time.
(3) In the making of civil certificate rules, the following matters shall be covered, namely: -
(A) a clear and transparent description of each service;
(B) the cost of providing the service;
(C) the qualifications and processes related to receiving and claiming services;
(D) deadline for service delivery;
(E) the responsibility of the citizens regarding the service;
(F) guarantee of service;
(G) settlement of complaints regarding service delivery; And
(G) the result of a breach of the promise made in the Charter.
Use of better information technology and good governance:
(3) Every union council shall utilize advanced information technology within a certain time frame to ensure good governance.
(2) For the purpose of sub-section (1), the Government shall provide financial and technical assistance and other assistance.
(3) The Council shall arrange to inform the citizens of all the services provided by the Government, including advanced information technology, as described in the Citizens' Advancement.
